Spotlight on Indian Players: Representing India at the Paris Olympics

As the Paris Olympics started yesterday and India's elite athletes gear up for a spectacular performance at the Paris Olympics !
I am incredibly thrilled for this Olympic season and if you share my excitement, please follow me to get information about the Olympics in Paris ; it will be very inspiring for me.
In this blog, I present the whole list of Indian athletes competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris as authorized by the sports ministry.
There are 117 Indian competitors competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, including 7 reserve athletes. 42 members of the Indian team for the summer games are from the two northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, respectively.
The majority of Haryana's 2024 Olympic team consisted of six wrestlers and five shooters, while ten of Punjab's eighteen athletes headed to Paris play hockey.
There are 29 members of the contingent from athletics (11 women and 18 men), followed by shooting (21) and hockey (19).
Eight table tennis players and seven badminton players, including two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu, will represent their countries.
There will be six representative events for wrestling, archery, and boxing, and then four for golf, three for tennis, two for swimming, two for sailing, and one each for judo, weightlifting, equestrian and rowing.
