MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALLS

Image
MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALLS!! Mirror, mirror on the walls, Whose secrets echo through these halls? Not just beauty do you see, But whispers of who I’m meant to be. Mirror, mirror, cold and wise, You hold the storms behind my eyes. You know the thoughts I never speak, The strength I crave, the peace I seek. Mirror Mirror on the walls, Why do they stare in crowded halls? I rise like tales the stars once told, A girl too tall, too fierce to fold. Mirror mirror , show me signs, Of ancient fate and hidden lines. Is magic real? Do stars still hear, The quiet wish, the silent tear? Mirror Mirror on the walls, What rises after darkness crawls? A soul reborn, a wish unchained, A dream once lost, now unrestrained. Mirror, mirror , don’t deceive, Reflect the hope I still believe. A tale untold, a soul half-sung, A spell undone, a heart still young. Mirror Mirror on the walls, Can mirrors lie, or do they stall? Do they reflect or rearrange, The truth we’re too afraid to change? MIRROR MIRROR...

A Palette Called Life

"A Palette Called Life"  🎨 I gazed above, the sky so wide, so blue , And dreamed to be a butterfly drifting through A canvas winged with color and delight, Painting peace in the broad daylight. I wished to glow in passionate red , The color where love and courage tread. To beat like hearts that never tire, A flame within, a burning fire. To be yellow in someone's rainy day, A beam of joy lighting up their way. The color of hope that softly speaks, Of sunny days and glowing cheeks. Or maybe purple , wild and wise, A storm of thoughts beneath calm skies. Where art and dreams so gently stir, The soul of every wanderer. I longed to wear the white of peace, Where noise of judgment finds its cease. A shade of truth, so pure, so still, The silence that the heart can feel. To shine like orange , bold and bright, With fire that fuels the morning light. A spark that dances, never dull, With spirit loud and laughter full. Then pink arrives with tender gr...

Beyond the Game

Image
Beyond the Game In the hush before the whistle, in the roar of the crowd, Lies a lesson unspoken, fierce, fearless, and proud. From fields of green to arenas wide, Each sport is a mirror, where life won’t hide. Cricket teaches patience, one ball at a time, That centuries are built with grit, not just rhyme. It's not the sixes, but the silence between overs, Where we learn, how to wait, and start over. Football is chaos, stitched into grace, It’s teamwork in motion, a collective chase. You fall, you dive, but you rise for the score, Life too is played best with heart at its core. Badminton brings precision, each flick a fight, In the shuttle’s flight, we learn timing is right. Reflexes sharpen, egos go mute, Sometimes strength lies in staying resolute. Tennis says, your biggest rival’s your mind, It’s about endurance, and leaving doubt behind. Game, set, match , not just for fame, But to learn losing doesn’t mean shame. From Formula 1 , we learn to steer under pressure, That spe...

A Bond Without Words

Image
A Bond Without Words  मूक बंधन - "शब्दों के बिना एक बंधन" They say beasts don’t understand love, but her crumb-filled fingers knew better. No words, just offerings soft circles of wheat and trust. The earth stood still as two heartbeats knelt in opposite skins one in a linen frock, the other draped in dusk and dust. She didn't flinch. The world hadn't yet whispered fear into her bones. To her, horns were not threats, they were just crowns without thrones. The eyes across her were wells deep, old, gentle. She looked in, not away. And something passed... Not sound, not thought something softer. If the wind could speak, it might've said: "This is what we forget." Later, they will teach her to recoil, to pull back the hand before it ever feels warmth in a wild breath. They will lace her spine with caution, tie her ribs with logic. But for now she feeds the silence with biscuits, and the silence thanks her in return. No growl, no bark, no name. Only a pact t...

What will your verse be?

Image
What will your verse be?   What will your verse be? A question asked in a whisper, echoed in classrooms and hearts a question I now answer, with laughter, love, and the life I dream to craft. My verse will begin with joy, with humor like sunshine through tired skies, roasting with love, joking with soul, bringing smiles to the faces that life forgot to cheer for a while. I will walk strong and tall not just in height, but in spirit unbent by harsh words. No voice will shrink me, no cruelty will cage me, for I will love myself in ways I once waited for others to. My verse will be hands that help. One day, when I can, I will lift those who sleep on cold pavements with empty hands and endless hope. I will give....quietly, fiercely, until dignity returns to every eye I meet. It will be a life lived on my terms, written in chapters of choice and courage. Independent not in solitude, but in soul writing my own path, even if the world draws maps I don’t wish to f...

Two Sides of a Coin

Image
Two Sides of a Coin Every coin has two sides, so does life. Life flips a coin, it spins in air, Two sides glinting, bold and bare. No truth exists in just one light, Both day and dark complete the night. Where dreams may soar on wings of fire, Regrets may sit in cold attire. The sweetest song that hearts compose, Can end in silence, no one knows. Where joy may bloom in morning’s grace, Grief waits not far with solemn face. A laugh may echo down the lane, Yet tear and smile walk hand in hand with pain. Love may glow with passion bright, But hate can rise in shadowed night. A heart once warm may turn to stone, For every bond, some stand alone. To win is sweet, a crown well-earned, Yet loss is where true strength is learned. The taste of failure, sharp and deep, Wakes dreams that victory put to sleep. For every truth the tongue may tell, A lie may lurk, disguised too well. A friend may smile and shake your hand, Yet foes may walk in friendship’s brand. Truth may wear a shining mask, ...

The Many Shades of White

The Many Shades of White When I was a child, full of wonder and light, I claimed my favorite was the color white. Not from choice, but from what I had heard, My father once spoke that single word. So white it was, by his gentle decree, A shade I admired, though vaguely, carefree. But years moved on, and life took its flight, And now I see why I truly love white. White is the canvas where passion gets shown, A backdrop that lets every triumph be known. It fades to the back so that others can gleam, The quiet supporter of every bold dream. Of healing, of power, of spirit set free, Of silence, of balance, of calmness in me. It’s coldness and warmth, both holding their place, A mirror of life with its intricate grace. It's the color of peace, of beginnings brand new, Of wisdom in hair as the seasons pass through. Of prophecy deep and of judgment so grand, The great white throne where destinies stand. It’s cricket, the Test, where legends are made, In whites they ba...

"The Gentleman's Blade"

Image
The Gentleman's Blade For Kane Williamson In whites, in blues, in fiery black, With willow calm, he takes attack. Be it five days or just twenty overs, He plays the game like silent thunder. A poet’s touch, a thinker’s pace, Across all formats, he brings grace. He stands apart in this great sport, A man of class, of quiet sort. And though the world may shout and cheer, He lets his silence draw them near. His blade, a brush, his shots, like a art, He plays the field with patient heart. No flash, no rage, no need to boast, Yet often he delivers most. He’s the player none can bring to spite, The calmest soul beneath the light. No borders hold the love he's earned, From every fan, respect is returned. A true gentleman, pure and wide, With grace that cuts through every side. I’ve long admired Dhoni's reign, The calm, the mind, the fire restrained. But after him, it's Kane I see, Reflecting all I wish to be. In Kane I find that same pure thread, A leader, calm in wha...

"In Sascha We Trust"

Image
"In Sascha We Trust" In Hamburg's chill, a boy was born, With racquet dreams and spirit sworn. A child of courts, where echoes flew, He chased the ball the way dreams do. Tall as the sky, with golden hair, He carved his name through grit and flair. With every serve, a silent vow To rise, to fight, to not allow. The world to doubt what he could be, A storm in sneakers, wild and free. He played with fire, his passion clear, Through blood and blisters, loss and fear. He climbed the ranks with burning fire, Each loss just fueled his rising higher. ATP Finals, Masters too, He proved the doubters wrong, it’s true. The US Open, bitter still, He came so close, showed all his will. A two-set lead, a final's fate Just two points shy, the cruelest weight. As teens took breaks, he stood his ground, Among the giants, he was found. Masters trophies, titles tall, But Slam success? Just missed the call. But luck, it seems, has played unfair, For every rise, a cross to...

When Joy Meets Doubt

Image
When Joy Meets Doubt Overthinker's Loop Why am I smiling now? Is this joy real or just a show? If laughter lives too loud, Will tears rush in when no one knows? Can happiness last? Or is it a fragile glass? If I hold it too tight, Will it shatter fast? Why do I feel so light? Shouldn’t shadows creep inside? If I soar too high, Will I crash down from this ride? What if this peace is just a mask, And storms are waiting, patient, vast? If I laugh more now, Will the pain hit harder, faster, last? Who will stand beside me, That partner I’ve yet to meet? Will he understand my storms, Or just drift in silent retreat? Will I be enough someday, To give what parents dream? To build a life stable and strong, Or is it just a fleeting scheme? So many hobbies spark my soul Art, words, music’s call. But can I juggle all these dreams, Or will I let some fall? Should I stop this smile, Pretend I’m numb for a while? Because the overthinker in me whispers low, Don’t trust the c...

A Life She Paused for Us

Image
A Life She Paused for Us "To the one who gave me everything, even when she had little, this poem is for you MAA.  My Forever Home She shaped her world around our clocks, Woke before dawn, matched school-time talks. While we chased buses, groaned at the day, She folded her hours and gave them away. School, College or Coaching classes, endless forms, She braved it all through routine storms. Not once did she pause to say she’s tired, Because her love is endless, never expired. She missed the trips, the wedding nights, The picnics, parties, city lights. While the world outside spun fast and free, She stayed behind just for my siblings and me. In kitchens where the summers burned, While fans whirred on and backs were turned, She stirred with sweat on her gentle brow, Cooking with love we still taste now. No chef could ever match her flair, No hands like hers could braid such hair. A stylist with fingers, a cook with heart, A woman whose skills are living art. She was my first tea...

Satchi: The Destructive Duo

Image
Satchi: The Destructive Duo Chirag Shetty: The Silent Storm From Mumbai's lanes, where dreams take flight,          Chirag rose early, chased the light. Tall and lean with fire in his soul,  He trained through pain, with one fierce goal. The court were harsh, the roads unsure, But passion made him strong and pure. With sweat and will, he carved his way, To let the shuttle dance and sway. Critics came said "Doubles?" Why? He proved them wrong, soared through the sky. Through doubt and grind, he stood his ground, Till victory's echo became his sound. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy- The Thunderbolt from the South From Amalapuram's sun-kissed land, A boy with racket in eager hand . Satwik dreamed big in a humble home, Where sky has ceiling, court was dome. His smash was loud, his spirit bold, A heart of fire in body gold. Through travel, loss and endless drills, He dreamed to master all the skills. With every fall, he had rise and train, For glory born from grit and p...

Just Three of Them (And That’s More Than Enough)

Image
🌸Just Three of Them (And That’s More Than Enough)🌸 I have got just three friends.....yes, only these three, No squads, no gangs, just this wild trinity. Samiksha, Ananya, and Smriti --- the core of my plot, I don’t have photos with them, but memories? A LOT. With them, I talk for hours, even though I hate calls, Yet their names light up my screen and my walls. I’m the extrovert they unlocked, while the world sees a ghost, They know the real me, the chaos, the roast. In 20 years of my life, through college, through space, Three years apart or more, still nothing can replace. We’ve lived in cities far apart, but the bond never shakes, And we’ll be best friends till our children cut wedding cakes. They don’t judge my rants, my silence, my tone, With them, I’m never truly alone. They're miles away in the southern breeze, While I freeze in the north, missing them with ease. But here's a dream I won’t ever skip  A messy, laughter-packed four-person trip. And if they think they’re...

Beyond Bloodlines

"BEYOND BLOODLINES" Who says breakup hurts the most? I have cried at the mere thought of a world without you beside me. Who says betrayal cuts the deepest? I have hated myself for every moment I made you feel alone. Who says distance breaks the hardest? I have felt the ache in every mile that stands between our hearts. Who says silence is harmless? I have drowned in the quiet when your voice went missing from my days. Who says memories fade with time? I've kept every laugh of yours folded in the corners of my soul. Who says growing apart is natural? I've fought against the drift, hoping we'd still find the same shore. Who says soulmates are only for lovers? I've found pieces of myself in every moment we've shared. Who says only time builds trust? I've trusted you since the day you saw the real me and stayed. Who says you have to speak every day? I've felt your presence in silence, steady as the stars. Who says support needs grand gestures? I've...

The Blue Mehandi

Image
THE BLUE MEHANDI She draws the patterns with Pen With pen in hand, she draws with glee,   This is mehndi, just for me  A heart, some dots, her own design,   In her small world, it’s all just fine. Look, it's mehndi she exclaims with cheer,   Though ink, not henna, has drawn it here.   A blue heart, some dots, a line In her small world, it's just as fine. No rules, no care, just pure delight,   In her soft smile and eyes so bright.   A little artist, wild and free That’s the charm of childhood’s spree. No rules to bind, no lines to stay,   She paints her joy in her own way.   With every stroke, so free, so wild,   Lives the wonder of a child. Oh, let her world stay bright and wide,   With paper palms and joy as guide.   For in that smile and sweet pretend,   Lives a magic we must defend. A heart of ink, a soul so free That's childh...

"The Art of the Seam" ft. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Image
"The Art of the Seam" He walks in quiet, calm and light,   No drama, no fire, just pure delight.   With ball in hand, he starts his run,   And that’s when magic has begun. From dusty nets in Meerut town,   To cricket’s grandest, golden crown,   He carved a path both still and steep,   Where swing can wake a game from sleep. His action smooth, like flowing stream,   A bowler's grace, a dreamer’s dream.   No wasted move, no sudden fight Just rhythm, timing, pure and right. They call him poetry in motion,   A swing king with silent devotion.   The seam obeys, the air it bends,   And batsmen hope, but rarely fend. He doesn't shout, he doesn't glare,   He just lets the ball dance in the air.   An outswing tease, an inswing kiss Each delivery, a quiet bliss. From small-town roots to world stage fire, ...

A Quiet Flame

Image
A Quiet Flame She listens more than she will say,   Her thoughts like rivers kept at bay.   With steady gaze and subtle grace,   She holds whole worlds behind her face.   She wears a smile, so calm, so wide,   But hides a storm she feels inside.   Her eyes may gleam, her laugh may ring,   Yet silence wraps her everything.   She speaks in looks, in subtle signs,   And buries truth between the lines.   She walks in light, but holds the rain,   Her voice is soft, her words are few,   But oceans swell in what she knew.   A quiet world of hidden pain. A quiet heart, a guarded soul A story there, but never told. No need to shout, no urge to prove,   She moves in calm, a silent groove.   Her strength is still, her truth runs deep A quiet flame she’ll always ...

KL RAHUL – A Story in Rhyme

Image
KL Rahul – A Story in Rhyme 🏏 A boy with dreams, a bat in hand, From Mangalore’s warm, dusty land. He trained each day, he worked so hard, With silent hope and full regard. He got his chance, his debut day, But nerves and pressure came his way. The runs were few, the critics loud, Yet Rahul stood, both strong and proud. Next match he played, he made a ton, A hundred scored beneath the sun. He showed the world what he could do, With strokes so sweet and heart so true. But life in cricket isn’t straight, There’s ups and downs, there’s twist of fate. Injuries came, the form went low, At times it felt so tough to go. They dropped him once, then brought him back, He changed his game, got back on track. He kept the gloves, he changed his spot, He gave his best, he gave a lot. In Tests, in T20s, ODIs too, He played each role, he saw it through. With calm and class, with style and grace, ...

Sunflower is She (Poem)

Image
Sunflower is She !   How lucky the sun must be; The sunflower desired by a hundred of other flowers  But has got face towards the sun only, And stands with heart so pure, Her golden face with love so sure. In the sunny days, She walks beside him in countless ways, Not for the chase or fleeting thrills, But for the love that's calm, that always fills. No shadow can make her love displaced  She'll follow him, her sacred chase  In her world, there's only one face, A love that time cannot erase A one-man woman, proud and true, In every sunrise, she finds him new. ~ Swej Priya Thanks for Reading !! Let me know in the comment section what do you think about the lines.

Duality (Poetry)

Image
DUALITY!!                                                They are not what they are in people's thoughts.  Them, their sugar-coated talks Their promises and the fake knot    They are toxin and pretending to be jurt And use words like I'll never hurt.    Oh, come on!!!! Can you please give up acting like a sun and moon?  Because all I know is you are not what others thought.  ~Swej Priya  Thanks for reading!!!!
