The Many Shades of White

The Many Shades of White When I was a child, full of wonder and light, I claimed my favorite was the color white. Not from choice, but from what I had heard, My father once spoke that single word. So white it was, by his gentle decree, A shade I admired, though vaguely, carefree. But years moved on, and life took its flight, And now I see why I truly love white. White is the canvas where passion gets shown, A backdrop that lets every triumph be known. It fades to the back so that others can gleam, The quiet supporter of every bold dream. Of healing, of power, of spirit set free, Of silence, of balance, of calmness in me. It’s coldness and warmth, both holding their place, A mirror of life with its intricate grace. It's the color of peace, of beginnings brand new, Of wisdom in hair as the seasons pass through. Of prophecy deep and of judgment so grand, The great white throne where destinies stand. It’s cricket, the Test, where legends are made, In whites they ba...

Just One More Glimpse

What If This is the Last Time? (A Fan's Ode to MS Dhoni) Jee bhar ke dekh lijiye humko kareeb se....F ir aapke naseeb mein ye mulaqat ho naah ho. What if this is the last time he walks out to bat, In yellow pride, beneath that iconic cap. The roar of the crowd, the calm in his eyes, The man who never flinched, never fed us lies. What if this is the last time we cheer, For the man who made pressure disappear? Not just a player, but a quiet storm, Who kept us safe, who set the norm. What if this is Dhoni’s final run, Under Chennai’s golden sun? A silence hits, a fan’s deep fear, That we may not see him next year. We fear it, we feel it, this might be the end, Of watching our captain, our mentor, our friend. Not just a player, he's a reason we cheer, For us, every glimpse of Mahi brings tears. We watch the match for Mahi’s face, His presence is our comfort, our sacred space. For us, a glimpse is enough to heal Mahi’s presence is something we feel. He fixed our hearts, never asked ...

"The Gentleman's Blade"

Image
The Gentleman's Blade For Kane Williamson In whites, in blues, in fiery black, With willow calm, he takes attack. Be it five days or just twenty overs, He plays the game like silent thunder. A poet’s touch, a thinker’s pace, Across all formats, he brings grace. He stands apart in this great sport, A man of class, of quiet sort. And though the world may shout and cheer, He lets his silence draw them near. His blade, a brush, his shots, like a art, He plays the field with patient heart. No flash, no rage, no need to boast, Yet often he delivers most. He’s the player none can bring to spite, The calmest soul beneath the light. No borders hold the love he's earned, From every fan, respect is returned. A true gentleman, pure and wide, With grace that cuts through every side. I’ve long admired Dhoni's reign, The calm, the mind, the fire restrained. But after him, it's Kane I see, Reflecting all I wish to be. In Kane I find that same pure thread, A leader, calm in wha...

"In Sascha We Trust"

Image
"In Sascha We Trust" In Hamburg's chill, a boy was born, With racquet dreams and spirit sworn. A child of courts, where echoes flew, He chased the ball the way dreams do. Tall as the sky, with golden hair, He carved his name through grit and flair. With every serve, a silent vow To rise, to fight, to not allow. The world to doubt what he could be, A storm in sneakers, wild and free. He played with fire, his passion clear, Through blood and blisters, loss and fear. He climbed the ranks with burning fire, Each loss just fueled his rising higher. ATP Finals, Masters too, He proved the doubters wrong, it’s true. The US Open, bitter still, He came so close, showed all his will. A two-set lead, a final's fate Just two points shy, the cruelest weight. As teens took breaks, he stood his ground, Among the giants, he was found. Masters trophies, titles tall, But Slam success? Just missed the call. But luck, it seems, has played unfair, For every rise, a cross to...

When Joy Meets Doubt

Image
When Joy Meets Doubt Overthinker's Loop Why am I smiling now? Is this joy real or just a show? If laughter lives too loud, Will tears rush in when no one knows? Can happiness last? Or is it a fragile glass? If I hold it too tight, Will it shatter fast? Why do I feel so light? Shouldn’t shadows creep inside? If I soar too high, Will I crash down from this ride? What if this peace is just a mask, And storms are waiting, patient, vast? If I laugh more now, Will the pain hit harder, faster, last? Who will stand beside me, That partner I’ve yet to meet? Will he understand my storms, Or just drift in silent retreat? Will I be enough someday, To give what parents dream? To build a life stable and strong, Or is it just a fleeting scheme? So many hobbies spark my soul Art, words, music’s call. But can I juggle all these dreams, Or will I let some fall? Should I stop this smile, Pretend I’m numb for a while? Because the overthinker in me whispers low, Don’t trust the c...

A Life She Paused for Us

Image
A Life She Paused for Us "To the one who gave me everything, even when she had little, this poem is for you MAA.  My Forever Home She shaped her world around our clocks, Woke before dawn, matched school-time talks. While we chased buses, groaned at the day, She folded her hours and gave them away. School, College or Coaching classes, endless forms, She braved it all through routine storms. Not once did she pause to say she’s tired, Because her love is endless, never expired. She missed the trips, the wedding nights, The picnics, parties, city lights. While the world outside spun fast and free, She stayed behind just for my siblings and me. In kitchens where the summers burned, While fans whirred on and backs were turned, She stirred with sweat on her gentle brow, Cooking with love we still taste now. No chef could ever match her flair, No hands like hers could braid such hair. A stylist with fingers, a cook with heart, A woman whose skills are living art. She was my first tea...

Satchi: The Destructive Duo

Image
Satchi: The Destructive Duo Chirag Shetty: The Silent Storm From Mumbai's lanes, where dreams take flight,          Chirag rose early, chased the light. Tall and lean with fire in his soul,  He trained through pain, with one fierce goal. The court were harsh, the roads unsure, But passion made him strong and pure. With sweat and will, he carved his way, To let the shuttle dance and sway. Critics came said "Doubles?" Why? He proved them wrong, soared through the sky. Through doubt and grind, he stood his ground, Till victory's echo became his sound. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy- The Thunderbolt from the South From Amalapuram's sun-kissed land, A boy with racket in eager hand . Satwik dreamed big in a humble home, Where sky has ceiling, court was dome. His smash was loud, his spirit bold, A heart of fire in body gold. Through travel, loss and endless drills, He dreamed to master all the skills. With every fall, he had rise and train, For glory born from grit and p...

Just Three of Them (And That’s More Than Enough)

Image
ðŸŒ¸Just Three of Them (And That’s More Than Enough)🌸 I have got just three friends.....yes, only these three, No squads, no gangs, just this wild trinity. Samiksha, Ananya, and Smriti --- the core of my plot, I don’t have photos with them, but memories? A LOT. With them, I talk for hours, even though I hate calls, Yet their names light up my screen and my walls. I’m the extrovert they unlocked, while the world sees a ghost, They know the real me, the chaos, the roast. In 20 years of my life, through college, through space, Three years apart or more, still nothing can replace. We’ve lived in cities far apart, but the bond never shakes, And we’ll be best friends till our children cut wedding cakes. They don’t judge my rants, my silence, my tone, With them, I’m never truly alone. They're miles away in the southern breeze, While I freeze in the north, missing them with ease. But here's a dream I won’t ever skip  A messy, laughter-packed four-person trip. And if they think they’re...

Beyond Bloodlines

"BEYOND BLOODLINES" Who says breakup hurts the most? I have cried at the mere thought of a world without you beside me. Who says betrayal cuts the deepest? I have hated myself for every moment I made you feel alone. Who says distance breaks the hardest? I have felt the ache in every mile that stands between our hearts. Who says silence is harmless? I have drowned in the quiet when your voice went missing from my days. Who says memories fade with time? I've kept every laugh of yours folded in the corners of my soul. Who says growing apart is natural? I've fought against the drift, hoping we'd still find the same shore. Who says soulmates are only for lovers? I've found pieces of myself in every moment we've shared. Who says only time builds trust? I've trusted you since the day you saw the real me and stayed. Who says you have to speak every day? I've felt your presence in silence, steady as the stars. Who says support needs grand gestures? I've...
